Rbtree, I've only witnessed bashers question "how Rufus OWNS the bonds". That's it. But you say my explaination doesn't hold water according to many. I've yet to read an argument against what I posted. Certainly, what I posted is EXACTLY how bonds are used as assets to fund building, business, etc. You can learn this by reading the papers when governments issue bonds for whatever. Show me with a link an argument against what I posted.
As far as the 5 billion bond you querry. That was explained several times. Bashers choose to ignore it. 700 million = Value of bond a few years ago (I think 5). Just like a government bond you may purchase for your child for 500 bucks becomes 1500 bucks 10 years later.
