Friday may not have been the best time to release this real good news, but I don't think it would have changed much even if it had been on a Monday with a full trading week.
The issue as I see it is what it's been a while now. Today's news was released through a media distribution site called GLOBE NEWSWIRE. There are similar sits used for the same purpose; The problem with these sites is they are target specific. If I had not already been an investor holding RDGL and had not set up alerts to get any news feeds for RDGL, I never would have heard or seen the news release. GLOBE and the other sites send out hundreds of news items every day that get lost in the noise because folks only have alerts for stocks or sectors they are already invested in or watching for future investing. There's probably only 40 to 50 investors with RDGL on their radar already. Korenko is doing a great job getting the company turned around, but he's missing huge opportunities in terms of marketing potential in my opinion. Biotech watchers! Vet industry! Pet owners! Hundreds of thousands of new eyes and potential investors, big and small, if Korenko would only start targeting those various social media sites, tagging etc. The news is irrelevant if no one knows about it.
