I'd say its something of a unique PR. Its normally the kind of thing you discover maybe at the annual filing and you say "CRAP! those SoB's doubled the OS! This stock is now a diluted piece of garbage" The fact that they PR'd it with dates and numbers shows the respect they have for their shareholders. And most gratifyingly, it shows they have respect they have for the LXGTF stock itself, in that its only a fractional increase of the OS. Still a very nice float. Still a good opportunity for their investors long term as you say.
