If your explanation were true, the price of the stock would be going up not down. Who is setting the price of the coins if there are no buy and sell transactions? In the stock market it is a matter of how much investors are willing to pay for the stock but with MobiCoin if there are no sellers, there is no real value to be determined, therefore, someone must be putting an arbitrary number in there to make it appear that it is increasing in value.
