it was....apparently this guy https://www.caseyresearch.com/the-2018-cannabis-boom/ had a seminar last night and called GRWG the Home Depot of MJ and called KSHB the Amazon of MJ...I gather anyway..

Assuming that was the trigger, it's called no supply and a bunch of sheep putting in market orders to get a piece of the next big thing. Worked for me!
