#12527 RE: ombowstring #12524

ombowstring: I don't own any. I don't plan to own any. I'm too old to trust something so intangible. Maybe I'm too much of a luddite. I would just rather own precious metals and the stock of precious metal mining companies. Something tangible, something that has been "money" for over 5,000 years. I own very little stock outside of mining ETFs and mining stocks.

The fundamentals will still matter at some point in the future. The creation of $20 Trillion in worldwide liquidity, out of pixie dust, by the world's Central Banks (in collusion) has created the outward appearance of prosperity. This has juiced the markets far beyond the fundamentals based on actual earnings. We are now in "The Everything" bubble. The only thing that has not participated has been precious metals. Real estate is a bubble. Stocks are a huge bubble. Bonds are in a bubble. Art is in a bubble. Cryptos are a bubble. The whole world has an unpayable debt problem.

Look at it this way. If at some future date we lose the electric grid, what happens to crypto money? My silver coins will still be able to buy food (I hope).
