ATVI's own lawyer during a court proceeding before Judge Casper said there were "billions" at stake. And I would think he should know.

Nothing directly form WDDD, but go back a few years on here and many people have laid out various damage assessments.
The numbers vary widely, and none of it is anything more than educated guesses based on the original 55+ claims, I doubt anyone will do any strong analysis until after we get out the CAFC.
I say that because until then, nobody will know exactly how many claims, and which claims will be taken to district court.
The numbers on just Call of Duty and World of Warcraft over the allowed infringement years is billions of dollars in revenue as just COD rakes in a billion plus every edition of the game. Billions.
So think of that with a royalty rate from .5% to 3%,
now treble that.
That is what is at stake, if you want a quick assessment.

Before going after any other infringers, and there are a lot of them.
Disney, EA, and everyone else with a MMO.

Well... according to ATVI'a attorneys during the Markman, "it could cost their client BILLIONS."
Just typing that has put a smile on my face that will last all day.
