You fail to realize as every day goes by Boone owns more and more of the company, and Victor and friends own less and less.
Boone's money is secured by the assets...Buyout could happen in the event of bankruptcy, but not before. Boone has covered his bases. He also is one of, if not the only preferred shareholder by now...probably not a coincidence.
Boone is the only one to benefit in any scenario that doesn't involve the word miracle.
