The difference is that back then they knew they had time before the next Q, now the Q or news could drop any day and hardly anyone is willing to give their shares away just before a possible major run.
I have the same thoughts on this and doing all the calculations to see how much I can sell to take advantage of a serious dip that I believe will last for 1 to 2 days and is coming in the very near future. I believe your thoughts are based on analytics and history and mine are based on the events I believe we will see in the near future.
The 10q for qtr 3 will make for a nice dip. I believe the stop sign will be released and the basher class will hit the dilution topic hard making a great deal of money shorting the stock.
Next event will be the 10q for qtr4 and the stock will go back up to a normal level very steady.
The 10q in March will be on time and packed full of reoccurring revenue making for the rocket run.
