GE Power: Efficiency is increasing 1.5 times (from_previous_facility)

Different than the earlier post. This includes a video. There's no mention of additive technologies in the video. There is in the post.

At gepower.com - HA ACHIEVES 55,000+ OPERATING HOURS, 64% EFFICIENCY - December 14, 2017

The beginning of the post up to the video:

December 14, 2017

GE’s HA gas turbine technology has achieved several important milestones over the past few months. Here’s the round-up!

64% net efficiency
Recently at Power Gen International, we announced that the 9HA.02 can now be quoted at 64.0 percent net (not gross) efficiency in specified conditions with total output of 826 megawatts in 1x1 combined cycle configuration. This efficiency rate is higher than any other competing technology today, and was achieved largely due to GE’s advances in additive manufacturing and combustion breakthroughs through constant innovation. We remain on track to achieve 65 percent efficiency by the early 2020s.

>70 orders
Since we introduced the HA product line in 2013, HA total orders of 7HA turbines for 60Hz and 9HA for 50 Hz applications has grown to over 70 total orders around the world. The HA remains the fastest growing fleet of gas turbines, and we’ve extended our global reach over the last year to more than 16 countries – including Mexico, U.S., Brazil, Japan, Bahrain, France, China, and many others.
