If the opposite had been the case the sellers of collateral shares would have had to buy them back at higher prices and therefore lost money.
This might explain why the lies about SIAF started to be spread close to ATH... Why would anyone spend so much energy to spread lies about SIAF on the internet without any purpose? It might very well be the lender.
The heavy decline in the PPS from ATH might have been started by collateral shares hitting the market (temporary or permanently) and/or with the crybaby Hanson selling, followed by the sheep and TA-people, leaving value investors at the mercy of Solomons good-will...
