#1214 RE: GWPHWIN #1213

Thriving?

Did you miss the JMO [just my opinion]?

I admit INSY may have just had a brief reprise from its death throes but I see it as regaining vigor after an unjustified bashing of monstrous proportions.

1. Insy's liquid fentanyl is not a drug of choice by any addict. A rare instance of one addict managing to extract liquid fentanyl from its packaging used for misting would have been hilarious were it not so pathetic.

2. The sales practices of subsys to an outsider like myself would not appear more abusive than that of most any Big Pharmas pushing drugs. The yachts and exotic locations chosen for educational forums seem rather swank to an old farmboy. I bet the girls are gorgeous.

3. No doubt there is a terrible threat from even a preferred mode of delivery of any opioid but given that I once inhaled the original opioid in visiting an opium den in Bangkok, it is not at all evident that relief of fierce pain by a mist will ineluctably lead to addiction. I can tell you proferred puff on an opium pipe in the den seemed about as attractive as a kiss from a cobra.

4. This sort of thing blown up to hideous proportions that even leaves dying cancer patients, particularly those without independent resources, screaming through the night for lack of an adequate anesthetic brutal.

Anyway those matters will be decider by juries voting on who has the best lawyers but the threat to Insys' excellent liquidity and advanced technology, including R&D of a possible preventive of overdose deaths, that offers many medical benefits beyond pain relief.

Why do you seem to think I am so wrong?

We can all learn from those of superior wisdom and experience.

Best, Terry
