I love solid companies, too. Let's be real here, the DD is not solid and the pump hype is by the investors, not the Company and not RO.

Those same investors creating the glorified DD knew there was an empty shell with no assets and was being merged in, yet they didn't expose this fact. Brilliant move that made them bags and bags of money but at the expense of those who didn't catch on until later. I'm glad to see that the real DD is being exposed, that is better for the long term.
