Here's how I see this Calif. Pot Stock thing playing out;

(1.) Strong investor capital inflows for Q1 2018

(2.) Investors will look hard for clues in the Q1 reports

(3.) Q1 results will provide clues as to which companies are executing and showing high probability paths to strong growth - these co's will continue to see strong capital inflows going into Q2 ... while the scam companies that have no real business plans and are just selling shares will struggle.

(4.) Operating in a legal market within the 6th largest economy in the world will make a significant impact to the bottom lines of select companies (those that are properly positioned & execute) - and it'll take nearly a couple years b4 they reach near full valuations (similar to the CDN pot co's) ... while the scam companies that are just in the business of selling shares will disappear.

A couple things that are really important to understand is;

(A.) The California economy alone is the 6th largest economy in the entire world - the Calif. economy alone is bigger than the entire economy of Canada.

(B.) Even though the California economy is the 6th largest economy in the world, California is not a big region (so it has economies of scale) ... IE: Calif. is not spread over a huge region the size of Russia making it inefficient for large scale business

(C.) The illegal pot business in Calif. is already worth multi-Billions per year ... once it goes legal in a few days, those Billions in illegal transactions will begin a fast transfer into the hands of legal companies ... in other words, a massive mutli-billion dollar market already exists - it's wealth is just going to be transferred into different/legal hands.
