It probably has to do with the previous management that have been replaced in the past summer, if I remember correctly. Congratulations on becoming a shareholder, btw. I'm a new shareholder, myself. I've put 6k into this because of the New Bedford deal. I respect any company that is about helping struggling communities in the process of achieving their own goals.
WDDD owns shares in MRMD as it was spun out of Worlds. They are 2 separate companies. Worlds small sale of MRMD shares to fund their patent appeals and litigation have nothing whatsoever to do with MRMD.
That's easy to explain....Worlds still owned 9.8% or MRMD stock. Worlds (WDDD) is selling the shares it still owns as it needed more cash to fund the case it has against Activision. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MRMD other than there are some shares being sold of its stock by a shareholder. Got it?
