There won't be a name change until they close the deal and the deal can't be closed until shareholders vote...and I've yet to receive a proxy.
MARA has made themselves late to the party...they announced (touted) this deal on November 2nd, prematurely claiming to be one of the first Nasdaq companies to enter the blockchain game without actually being officially in the game, thus giving other Nasdaq companies the opportunity to beat them to market share. Everyday a company or so changes its name to something blockchain. This space is about to be very crowded...time is money.
