The PTAB is under political heat, some coming from VPLM. It has been suggested, the IPR decisions were a way for the PTAB to tell aapl/others to make this little nuisance go away, we like our cushy jobs and VPLM/Oil States are threats! This is a problem for the PTAB and their beneficiaries, like aapl!

You assume a copy from a clerk was not directed to them. Also, it was reported long ago on here the presiding judges probably never even saw them. Thought about that? Not even a consideration...I guess the sky will keep falling then.

Looks like Sawyer’s letter(s) were cc’d to the world via being placed on the VP website. Much easier than sending a personal copy to each individual.

Please explain in what universe is VPLM responsible for the actions of non-related parties, do you really think that VPLM is responsible for me sending an FU card to Timmy Crook.

Sawyer authored those letters after he left VPLM and was no longer responsible for any actions at/of the company.

If this for whatever reason is ruled in favor of Apple, The blatant irresponsibility of the actions of the PTAB will spell the end of many who work there and IMO, Oil States will not even matter, the whole thing will blow up. AIMOYDF
