OK, Who wants the phone number??
Back around the 2nd week of Sept., I phoned the corporate office of uWink. I inquired about employment at the new restaurant in Woodland Hills. The person I talked to explained that she did not know if they were still hiring and she told me to contact the restaurant directly. She gave me the number.
I called somewhere around Sept 12-14 to the location. They explained that they were fully staffed, however I was welcome to come in to fill out an application. He said that they were planning to open on Sept. 19th. So, when that didn't happen, I called back again and asked when would they open?? I was then told a soft open on the 28th and grand opening on Oct 1st. Next when I called yesterday, as I stated in my post (yesterday), the person at the restaurant said they had some delays and are hoping to open in one week.
She asked if she could get my name and number to put me on a list for special guests that may be invited to have a pre-experience of the restaurant prior to opening. That is when I had to come clean and explain that I live in Las Vegas.
Good luck to anyone who can get on the list for a pre-opening experience. The number is 818-992-1100 - which I have conveniently saved in my cell phone. I can't wait to visit the restaurant since, LIKE YOU ALL, I am part owner!!!
