Shows you the ignorance of most people.
There's nothing to "give" back.
Since I am outside the morass called "America", there are no "benefits" that I receive.
You only use medicare and medicaid if your in the U.S. and get sick or injured.
And then it kicks in to help with costs.
If you don't utilize the medical system in the U.S., there are no benefits at all.
So, smarty pants, nothing to "give" back.
And pretty amazing, since for over 50 years the government has stole my money.
Taxation is no different than a Mafia shake down.
Mafia does the same thing the government does and it's illegal.
Why is that??

Medicare is at this point in time way underfunded, and needs significant changes.

With all the cuts in the Tax Bill for businesses, it might be a good idea for us to look into some of the Following.

1. Raise the Medicare Tax by 50%
2. Raise what Doctors are re-imbursed.
3. Require Preventative Health Care to be part of the system
4. Implement Fee for Service across the medical spectrum
5. Lower the Medicare age from 65 to 60 which helps close an Insurance loophole for many uninsured.
6. Graduate the Tax so that the Rich pay a little more

We can take some of the Money used to Fund our Warfare State.

We can eliminate many Tax Loopholes/Credits/Subsidies that are no longer needed. This is good for a Couple of a hundred Billion a year easily.

Medicare is a Base System that needs to be addressed.

Ironically - The last president to increase the Medicare Tax was Ronald Reagan. It has been over 30 years since then.
