Well, I guess there is a little significance in this ruling in that it shows how appeals against PTAB final written decisions are a no winner, even when appealed up to the Federal Courts:
CRFD (the patent owners) lost the IPRs, then appealed the final written decision up to the Federal Courts and lost that too. I think 95% of appeals on PTAB final written decisions are losers.
This further enforces the UNPRECEDENTED nature and complete validation of VP's patent.
Wait a minute. I knew something was wrong here from reading your response a 2nd time. This is at least the 2nd time recently that the right link is sending the wrong article or info or vice versa. The article I was trying to send involved a company whose patents were rules VALID by the PTAB & then ruled INVALID by the federal district Court. This article is different. It appears to show invalidation rulings at both courts. I will try to find the right article.
