This is a big red flag right here. So you have to keep it in the back of your mind when trading this stock. General Cannabis cannot get conventional financing so the only way the can attract large holders of capital is to offer them insane discounts of the own stock. CANN management obviously thinks the stock is worth no more than $1.00 or else they would have pushed for a higher price. That is how bad they need this $6 million.
The sale of the Pueblo property is also surprising. Pueblo, CO was ground zero for the cannabis crowd. I would suppose they had to make some money on the appreciation of the property but if you are leaving ground zero then business must not be as great as it was purported to be.
I think they are going to focus on the California market since that is the "fresh opportunity" in investor minds.
