I'm not sure whether the price of Bitcoin v $ is overly relevant, certainly on a day to day basis. Sure, it increases the value for Bitcoin mined, and it's good to have the exposure on the news channels of it hitting a certain level (ie, next week could see $20,000). Unless I'm missing something (highly likely!)
