Your last statement of this post is 100% correct, the only way that TWMJF and Weed are connected is because Pre legalization, Canadian Cannabis companies are listed on the exchanges as Medical Research companies this is the only legal connection between the two. Legalization in Canada will bring with it a new industry code and because legalization by July 1/18 will violate US/Canada Drug Treaties, Trump, Sessions, the DEA, and SEC, will all be watching very closely Canadian Cannabis and the profits of Cannabis to make sure neither one is crossing the Border.
If Trump won't accept less then 100% + Tariffs and Taxes on Soft wood lumber, which in fact Canadian Government is not accepting, Do investors really believe he will let his Great American citizens profit from the Canadian Cannabis legalized industry, when we have illegally dropped out of the Treaties Which Americans are still legally bound to ???
If anything US DEA and SEC will be more diligent in keeping Canadian Cannabis and its illegal money out of the US.
