You are correct that’s a possibility. Apple is known to drag the process for a couple of years more.

That may or my not turn out to be true here. I've been saying pretty much the same for a long time, but at this point I'm thinking...when was there ever this much potential value or loss for apple or the others? When did apple face fines in the many billions? Plus licensing fees up the yin-yang or having to stop services or phone selling? It seems the numbers are too staggering for them to be able to play the game the same way they have in the past. Is that worth considering?
