No, not really. Fisrt solar uses modules primarily for their own projects and they typically only do utility scale projects a market SUNW doesn't compete in. Sunpower has overpriced modules in that they sell a higher Efficiency module and premium does't cover the added cost.
Until SUMW can discover a niche that they have competitive advantage they face strong headwinds and will trail the overall market. Sorry :-(
