Life, I would much rather they announce the launch the way you describe, after the fact, with multiple deals going at the same time. Bird in the hand... But don't think it can happen that way. I would consider the launch a material event, which has to be announced within 5 business days, I believe. I also would think they would generate some fan fare by announcing the launch, Maybe a parade down main street....
