I really have to agree with you in the short term for real. Now as interest rates go up the cost to pay our debt back also goes up as we borrow more and more. So in the longer term I can see the rates going up to case gold to go up. Go back and look at the way Gold went up during the biggest interest rate hike periods in the country. I did VERY! well. I think short term it will be short lived but wait and see how the hikes affect our countries debt. It will increase and Gold will look pretty attractive. But I do think that you are correct. This could very well be short lived and then come back down. Now I do think 2018 could be a good year for gold.
