BTW, in the summer the AC in the bedrooms are usually around 70°. It's funny that 70 in the summer feels great but in the winter is too warm.

My now deceased father-in-law told me how to keep the basement warm and dry. Just don'g insulate the copper heating pipes. Sure, you lose a little bit of heat but you keep your basement nice and dry and mold free!
