On our really cold nights, I leave the French doors open to the lanai (northern exposure) and the windows open. We have a thick down comforter that keeps us toasty warm even when it's in the 40's.

It's white, and Bubba runs through it like it's a blanket of new fallen snow.... He's a runner!

I don't know. I usually judge how cold it is by how close the dogs snuggle in.
