Yeah, anonymous internet removes the personal element for sure, and some see it as a game. Hideous diseases are not games, and would hope that most would support the development of drugs that could help all of us and/or our loved ones some day. Just look at what Mako did, for instance - to intentionally spread falsehoods that could keep valuable drugs from ever coming to market - all for personal profit. Something not quite right about that. Oh - the inhumanity!
Then again, this is a marketplace of ideas and results, and one hopes the best ideas and outcomes come through to the surface and win in the end, against the personal agendas of such as a Mako.
