If you are in the placebo group and you get OM but you drop out,.. are you counted as if you had Sev OM or not,..?

That's what I would do. If iI was in the trial and got severe sores I would immediately think I was the guinea pig and quit and get ice chips. That was a trial designed by a torturer. IMO
