That, I can't answer my friend. But institutions are holding an all time high. Insiders buying and not selling.

Institutions now holding 18,315,832 shares. (11.15%) All time high as you pointed out.

So between the insiders and institutions 90,150,233 shares held.

Pennie, ROX news - maybe in a way. Goslings TV advertising might have been seen and sparked some new attention with hockey and or skiing viewers on NBC Sports. To some who are new to ROX, that might have gotten them excited, and been the first time they ever heard of it being advertised.


I am being a realist about the Goslings TV ad announcement. It's a start. They can get better and more frequent.

It's a small buy, on one network, on shows with relatively low ratings with a revised but still boring commercial.

Malcolm Goslings fumbled it. Maybe it's an ego thing?

It confuses me. They hire the pretty and well spoken Julie Ann Dawson as spokesperson, and "bench" her for the commercial. Why?

T&A works in the ad biz. They need to show the Dark n Stormy FUN experience in action.

If all they did was substitute Ms Dawson for Malcolm in the same ad it would be better.

Malcolm walking down a row of barrels showing off the products at the end isn't going to make very many people other than maybe some who traveled to Bermuda, AND triggers that FUN memorable Dark n Stormy experience, AND are watching Hockey or Skiing, run to the store to buy the rum and GGB.

The type of ads Goslings is creating are obviously influenced by Malcolm.

Trey gets it with Jefferson's. They have a sexy model in the Jefferson's videos. Malcolm is 180 degrees in the opposite direction. He's not sexy.

I wish Jefferson's was airing their videos. They are FUN, catchy and memorable. But that's another subject for another day. As is, Jefferson's is still having trouble just trying to stay a little ahead of demand.
