doog....meeting them face to face you would have been able to see if this is just going to continue going down or if they have something in the future. Of course they wouldn't have said it but you could read it in voice inflection and their faces and body movement. It is no different than playing poker and reading your opponent. At least you would have felt sick or had a good feeling after the meeting. Your gut would have told you.
