Your PM definitely needs a reply. To begin with I believe Jason wanted to move up the ladder beyond his position. Did he give them an ultimatum? I believe the answer was a resounding yes. At this point the bad blood started. Of course IMO. Gets pissed and quits and did get a position much higher up the ladder which he may not be qualified for . His dispute had nothing to do with money but power. I have spoke in depth about the replacement the day you told me. The fact is you are wrong as they are actively looking to fill this position with a qualified person. The person is temporary and may already be filled with another person. Your DD is very good but always remember their is 2 sides to every story. Even you should know that from your prior job.
AJ is definitely gone and he is a CEO of another company. People are prideful and have this distinct belief the world revolves around them. Many people with degrees are arrogant and believe they are thy reason for the success. No humility. Certainly you saw within your prior career where everyone is busting azz but they are to busy to notice as it is all about them.
