Just watch American Greed sometime. The SEC watches these scam companies scam people for YEARS before they do anything, if ever. And that is for the BIG hundred million + obvious scams.

Yes...the SEC watches these scams being committed hundreds of times a day. But they largely get a bad rap. Most of these things are more civil or state penal matters.
