Thanks, ske, for bringing that press release to our attention. I wonder what stage of development the laser terminals are regarding robotic / gps direction positioning of transmit/receive laser "antenna".
Sorry ske, I am new to posting and didn't realize this was addressed to me.
Mynaric was successful from ground to plane to ground with lasers. Abwn was successful ground to plane to plane to ground with radio signals and routers. Each piece of technology has been proven by itself but not working together. ABWN seems to be making deals and bringing together the right people to make it all work.
I think that when its all said and done there will be a lot of different companies bringing their own expertise to the table. But this enterprise will be big enough for all companies involved to make big profits into the foreseeable future.
