The only difference I see in our backgrounds is that for the past 30 years I've been involved in the development sales and distribution of software and related hardware products. In 30 years I can count one 1 hand when the software team met a projection. Normal rule of thumb is add 6 months and you might be close. So I'm immune to these minor set backs. But for the normal business owner who sells widgets and hope to build a reliable service and income derived from selling widgets it's about supply and demand. Just 2 different worlds. So when I talk to other developers I can usually separate the fly shit from the pepper. Like someone said. We aren't opening a lemon aid stand. This is high tech stuff with lots of moving parts. Kinda like hurting cats.
