#138904 RE: Newlife2017 #138899

For some perspective, my company (the company I work for, not one I own) is in the process of purchasing a new database system... We're 10 months in, have absolutely settled on the final product, but still haven't signed anything or paid a dime.... the CFO is trying to squeeze them for another half million off the software licensing price, and reduce the price of the implementation. You don't think all these companies that are / or may be purchasing eCrypt are doing the same thing? Testing for multiple-million-dollar software packages take a long time, and negotiations can be absolutely cut throat.

Check out the tweet from 11-22. It may be weeks or months, but they are past testing and are actively negotiating with a very large company:

BVTK negotiating Ecrypt One deal for use by large company's employees in 390 large buildings on the West Coast (USA). "The word is out about Ecrypt One's utility and robustness" says BVTK's CEO. All the T&E (Test & Evaluation) took extra time--but was well worth it!
