Thats dumb, people will be willing to pay higher prices when they have to, people are content to bid sit now so long as blocks will be sold into the bid.
Once the selling into the bid stops people will need to hit the ask to get shares causing the price to increase, this is how the market works. Stocks sit at prices all the time will people not hitting the ask to pay a particular price then all the sudden a day or week later the price has gone up 100% and people are pounding the ask
