I can understand your position. Mine is based upon a real life situation. Afetr WWII ended I was stationed in England as a Col. in the U.S. Army. I commanded a detachement of our Defense Communications System and had to report to my next senior headquarters at Camp DeLoges in France. The location was about 15 miles siouth of Paris. Of course I became very familiar with the American cadre stationed ther ands was always amased at the incidents they siuffered at the hands of the French populace. Here we had recently liberated them and the paid us back by slashing tires on out cars when parked on the local streets,cursing at us in broken ountered them while walking or shopping in their tow. I could never understand this hatred and even today have a hard time with anything French. Vive La France--bull ----!
