It is the dealers in pot products, including medical, CBD, etc that cannot currently operate their businesses with banks, credit cards, etc. That alone provides the opening for a monetary system that is not unlawful. That's all it is...MJCoins are simply the exchange medium, not cash. There is no reason for ME to buy any coins EXCEPT if they appreciate in value, like one might buy gold to watch it appreciate.
But (pot) businesses WILL use it if it is better suited than the other available crypto currencies that are in the same space.
