Yes, it sure would be nice but I think that even if Amazon does not buy Rite Aid, RAD’s improved fundamentals should help rise its SP much higher than at present. I would pay more attention to RAD’s performance announcements, while a nice takeover would be icing on the cake, albeit a lot of icing! Good luck with your investments.
Not even a possibility. That notion was totally debunked and laid to rest with Amazon's statements and confirmation a few weeks ago that it will concentrate on selling medical devices and supplies, and that it has no plans to use its state license to get into the any aspect of the prescription business. There has never been any truth to the hype here that Amazon would have any interest in RAD.
