Naughty Girls Donut Shop — a racy sweets shop founded two years ago by a mother-daughter duo — is unveiling the first of many planned nationwide outposts on Friday, December 1, inside a Sterling, Virginia shopping center.

The pin-up themed bakery, co-owned by college student Tiana Ramos and mom Natalie Ramos, has attracted media coverage due to its provocative imagery. The local upstart shuttered its two original stores in 2015.

At its comeback location (23520 Overland Drive), the duo plans to liquor up sweets-seeking customers with nearly two dozen “drunkin” offerings. Booze-infused selections include chunky monkey doughnuts with bacon vodka and banana liqueur; salted caramel Baileys with vanilla-infused vodka; and beer and wine doughnut flights.

The 3,900-square-foot space’s bar will become fully functional with more options after the first month of service.

The expansive menu also includes new savory additions, such as Southern fried chicken with gravy on a doughnut, doughnut breakfast sandwiches, and raspberry molten lava and blood orange-creme brulee flavored doughnuts. There’s also vegan and gluten-free options in the mix.

Tiana Ramos, the head pastry chef, has kept busy during the down time: She recently kept celebrities well fed during her catering gig at the MTV Movie Awards. The 19-year-old says she plans to customize doughnuts for each city.

This spring, the brand was bought by entertainment company SNM Global Holdings scoring enough funding to sprinkle new locations across the U.S. Along with Sterling, six new shops are slated to open in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas through mid-2018.

This is the brand’s second go-around at a brick-and-mortar existence; before the latest acquisition, Naughty Girls operated shops in Front Royal and one in Potomac Mills. Both closed in 2015. The future locations are bigger with more menu options.

During the grand opening, set to kick off at 6 a.m., the first 100 customers will be entered into a drawing to win free doughnuts for a year.

Status: Scheduled to open at 6 a.m. on Friday, December 1. 23520 Overland Drive, Sterling, Va.;
