It is going thru bankruptcy for a reason. There is no great demand for deep sea drilling and even if oil would spike It would take maybe a year to ramp up. The existing debt holders will own all the equity once the bankruptcy process is done.
Buy after the bankruptcy process if you are so inclined. Even that will be a risk.
