Then why did they run it, they didn't have hardly anything on the platform. Oh, wait I remember, it was basically an ad for his wifes singing career. WOW using OTTV $$$ for that and 95% of the ad was for his wife.
This link below shows the ad at the concert right after they got movie channel packages. But now they lost those and are back to the way it was in the Spring.

You are absolutely right. But the only people that know of these thing are right here on this board, and the few that read the news of OTTV, or who actually follow. I am a LONG and will be to the bitter end. However, this is a waste of money. People will see the ad, but it won't click, because they know nothing of VIVA. First you have to spend you're money to get people to understand that VIVA will save you money over cable. Internet ads are the way to explain all that, that's where you start, large exposure crowd first.

Ktownkid13, I'm really hoping that they have something in place advertising the product with Viva live out front. Even if they are nothing more than still shots of mobile phones, tv's, the guide showing the tv in the top left corner. But more importantly, let people know that is another viable option to cable and satelitte providers. And VIVA LIVE will have to be in bold letters with the contact numbers and web address. I have absolutely nothing against his wife at all. But people could've easily confused that time square ad with a music video. They have an awesome product, there should be clarity on what is being offered. Just my optinion.

Agreed. That ad a colossal waste of time and money. JF will dilute OTTV even more so to fund a BS repeat. The last TSq ad was a fiasco. Little to no notice at all.

JF needs to PR an official VivaLive launch on Jan 1 or whenever...with no wiggle room. Without issuing actual PRs (or better yet 8Ks), it has no (Wall) Street cred.
