First, MNKD isn't Exact sciences. I know you know that. What happened there is most likely not going to happen to MNKD. Just like the silly notion that many think there will be a VW short squeeze scenario with MNKD. Won't happen either.
MNKD has a target on their back. Wall Street has no love for MNKD. It has always seen the company as a BK ready to happen.
Until MNKD shows that Afrezza (and technosphere) is a viable and profitable product (technology), Wall Street will continue to attack the company.
But, the point of asking for more shares, in this scenario, is needed.
Mike has helped stave off BK and restructured the company to give it a fighting chance.
But, as mentioned time and time before, there are still big hurdles for the company.
Time will tell if Mike can get the needed support from Doctors and Insurance companies.
Trying to battle billion dollar monopolies is no easy task.
