Seymour is attempting to assuage his base in hopes of reducing the number of lawsuits that are coming his way when the share price drops below a nickle in 2018.

NANOTOADY: AGAIN YOU TOTALLY MISS THE POINT I WAS MAKING

First, the post was intended somewhat tongue-in-cheek, though not entirely.

A little bit of nuance is okay.

Second, the issue I was raising is personal responsibility in investing. I am speaking of taking responsibility for, well not being responsible for going to sleep once a purchase is made.

Any holder of NNVC was free to sell at any time unless there was a reluctance to admit error OR a refusal to give up on a dream that the facts kept contradicting. That was not Gene's fault. What he did was to feed the fantasies. But we had to willingly consume them.

Is the drug dealer at fault or is the person who decides to take the drugs? Or is there some apportionment of blame? I feel there is a shared responsibility, and thus the old saw, it takes two to tango. Anyone of us could simply have told Gene, sorry pal I'm not dancing anymore to that old tune.

Anger directed at me or Gene is, I claim is misdirected because it will prevent the insight that will make another NNVC-like investment less likely. To the extent that I refuse to see my role in the NNVC-affair is the extent to which I am likely to do it again with another snake-oil salesmen.

I hope I have clarified my point. And have a great day.
