Uh....must not be checking THE NEWS much, but the DEA, a half dozen other FEDERAL POLICE agencies, FEDERAL PARK POLICE, LAND MGT, TOBACCO ALCOHOL AND FIREARMS and pretty much every other FEDERAL police force/division are busting marijuana as much, if not more than ever before in history- and doing it in states where it's supposedly "LEGAL", LOL !! Hasn't changed a damn thing.
Even local police don't give a crap- try smoking it in a public park with signs that say, "NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS ALLOWED" or near a elementary school or kiddy playground and see what the local cop does- as he cites the person. I know a lot of cops...they bust and search high schools, park users, street people, parked car users, use drug sniffing K-9's, etc all freaking day long in "POT LEGAL" states.
Uh...FEDS ARE BUSTING "POT" in every state where it's supposedly "legal", and doing it daily, like a freaking wrecking ball....didn't even cause um a hiccup or a baby burp.....
Same for EPA laws, Fish and Game, environmental laws...and about 100 other FEDERAL LAWS/REGULATIONS by agencies who use "REGULATIONS", not actual "LAWS" to prosecute people. Farmers are being prosecuted under FEDERAL LAW for putting a damn "water pond" on their own damn land, cause it's then deemed a "wet lands", just Google it.
TOTALLY FALSE to claim that some "STATE LAW" is gonna override the damn, near all powerful, FEDS. It's been going on and "creeping" in this nation for 50 plus years.
The "EPA" has almost no actual Congressional "LAW" to support what it does- but is one of the single most powerful entities controlling people's personal and BUSINESS LIVES today. They're worse than a damn POLITBURO....they have 10,000 plus "agents", and all they use is "REGULATION" written in codified "manuals" etc. NOT "laws" as passed by congress....they are "empowered" by congress, and then MAKE THEIR OWN "REGULATIONS" which they use to fine, cite, seize, imprison, etc.
