Indeed - they close both down often for parties/special events !
Man, If I was a smaller steakhouse chain (like a FOGO) I already have adults coming and spending money for dinner (Date nights / Anniversaries) and if I could have the kiddos of those same parents and their cousins and friends come to a GIGL for play dates/parties/while serving healthy organic food to them, I would corner the market. Moms clubs too.
Coupons/specials could be used to cross promote with locations in the same cities. Even a JAX would be a nice pairing if they wanted to grow by gobbling up a GIGL. I just don't know what is taking so long? GIGL is such small potatoes with such little risk to some of these 250m+ annual revenue producers, let alone the big fish.
Truly baffled as JP seems to try hard to mismanage it when all he really needs to do is Think/Act.
