I have suggested a number of times that vplm choose a very small infringer & sue them. Should be an easy win. Once such a court win for infringement took place, a snowball effect would be inevitable. Not a single comment for or against ever been made.
That's certainly an option but they would need to settle 1 claim and not sell all the rights in order for your suggestion to work. Many here talk about a quick buyout rather than a settlement.
